Joseph Dixon - President and Chief Executive Officer
Joe Dixon joined COVEGA in November of 2003. Joes broad range of
experience spans more than 30 years. Prior to joining COVEGA, he was the
President and Chief Operating Officer at Zia Laser, Inc. where he was
responsible for total corporate operations. Previously, he held VP
positions in engineering and operations in several start up companies
where he brought multiple products to market. Before that, Joe spent 28
years in AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies where he held senior
management positions in R&D, operations, business development, strategic
planning, and general management (primarily in the telecom
microelectronics and optical component arenas). Joe is an active member
of the Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Optical
Society of America (OSA). He has also chaired several committees of the
International Electronic Packaging Society (IEPS). Joe received a MS in
Electrical Engineering with specialization in Semiconductor Physics from
Lehigh University of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He has also taken
extensive executive training at the Darden School of Business at the
University of Virginia. |

Dan A. Petrescu -
Chief Sales Officer
An established and accomplished senior executive in the fibers optics
and photonics industry, Mr. Petrescu was formerly the Vice President and
General Manager of Newport Corporations Fiber Optics and Photonics
Division. Prior to Newport, Mr. Petrescu was the Director of
Manufacturing Operations of Nortels Optical Networks Group. |

Peter J.S. Heim, Ph.D. -
Chief Technology Officer
As a co-founder of QPI, Dr. Heim was responsible for the successful
launch of our angled-facet semiconductor laser. Dr. Heim was formerly a
research faculty member at the University of Maryland, and worked to
develop high-power semiconductor lasers, semiconductor optical
amplifiers, and tunable lasers. |

Lisa Peterson Chief
Operating Officer
Lisa joined COVEGA as Chief Operating Officer to bring additional focus
to the engineering, manufacturing and operations aspects of the firm.
Lisa spent the majority of her career with AT&T Bell Laboratories and
Lucent Technologies, with responsibilities ranging from Analog IC
designer and Optoelectronics Manufacturing Engineer to Director of
Manufacturing Sourcing for Optoelectronics. Next she served as Vice
President of Engineering and Manufacturing for CeLight in Silver Spring,
Maryland. Prior to joining COVEGA, she was a consultant with Aftan
Engineering Corporation and then A. T. Kearney. |

Randy Klueger Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Klueger joined COVEGA in June, 2006 and Core Capital in October 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Core Capital, Mr. Klueger has been President of Klueger & Associates LLC, providing Chief Financial Officer services and counsel to middle market companies. Mr. Klueger spent the past ten years as Chief Financial Officer of Global Material Technologies Incorporated, an international friction material company and four years as President and Chief Financial Officer of Millennium Laser Eye Centers, a Virginia based refractive eye surgery center. Mr. Klueger is a graduate of the George Washington University with a degree in Business Administration. |
